October is officially here! Which means it's that time of year again: Breast Cancer Awareness Month. As many of us know, breast cancer is the 2nd most common Cancer in Canada and is the #1 cancer for women (2021), which is why its so important for us to spread as much awareness as we can this month while people all over the country are paying attention to the disease.

There's a ton of misinformation out there about breast cancer, so, we'd like to share some great sources we follow which has educational information about breast self-exams, treatments, therapies, breast reconstruction, life post surgery/treatment and so much more (with some recent facts and infographics,) as well as some blog-style websites:

We've gifted these scarves before and you all just loved them so we thought we'd bring them back, they make such an elegant accessory to any outfit and would also be a great gift to give someone for the holiday season coming up!

Don't forget, you're entitled to a new prosthesis every two years! So, make sure you check with your insurance provider to see if its time for your new prosthesis. If you don't have private insurance, you're still eligible for the Ontario government grant every two years as well.

We are over-the-moon excited to share the newest addition to our boutique! We have two amazing chemise styles in by Fleur't and Montelle that we know you're all going to love as much as we do! They're both so beautiful on and made extremely well, the fabrics on both of these styles feel fabulous!

It's been extremely difficult to find lingerie that's both functional and sexy in mastectomy and we're so glad to have found these two styles and we can't wait for you to try them on! Linda, who most of us know has had a double mastectomy, has tried both styles on with her prosthesis' in and they both looked amazing and gave great support. Her favourite is the Montelle style (black chemise below) because the lace goes up a little higher and gives the perfect amount of coverage while still being sexy and flattering.
